our happy crazy christmas.
christmas tried to kill me. seriously, it kicked my tail this year. i don’t know if it’s because eli is getting older and is involved in more things, or if it’s because i’m working more than ever, or what, but i felt like i was holding on for dear life the vast majority of the time. and while it was sweet, i’m excited for the new year and it’s new beginning.

oh my, pretty.
despite my brief stint as a raging tom-boy (i may or may not have tucked my ponytail into my shirt for my 5th grade school picture so it looked like i had short hair), i have grown into quite the girly-girl. don’t get me wrong, i still love sports and being outside and getting my hands dirty, but i also love pretty dresses and things that shimmer and smell nice. i can’t help myself.
